Financial Assistance For Adoptive Parents

Adoptions, whether international or in the U.S., have costs associated with the required paperwork and the services provided to help you to complete a successful adoption.  There are several ways to help relieve the financial cost that you may incur.   

The two major ways to alleviate the financial costs associated with adoption are adoption benefits that your employer may provide and the Adoption Tax Credit (available from the federal government). Other possible sources of financial assistance include grants, loans, and assistance from state and federal entities.
